With health and wellness becoming the primary concern for all, it was time to question the kind of food choices people make in their daily life. This quest by three young entrepreneurs from Pune made them embark on the same mission and fulfill this need by taking up the challenge of providing unadulterated and fresh A2 milk to households to achieve exactly the same.

This mission laid the foundation of Vedaaz Organics, a startup that currently delivers to over 2500 happy customers in Pune and has recently launched operations in Mumbai as well. It started from a thought that took birth in their farm at Manchar which is about 60 km from Pune. They had already taken to the organic approach and had free grazing desi Gir cows to provide pure and rich A2 milk. This was further taken ahead and the milk was used to extract ghee, paneer, and curd with animal-friendly practices and traditional methods.

Expanding their vision, Vedaaz began in 2017 and that’s when Tushar Patil, Virendra Nagarkar, and Amit Patil faced their first major challenge in educating people about the benefits of having A2 Gir cow milk. Despite hailing from diverse backgrounds such as engineering and finance they left their corporate jobs to pursue their passion of providing pure and unadulterated A2 milk fresh from the farm to customers’ doorsteps at an affordable price. To further strengthen their mission they started providing free samples and adulteration testing kits for customers to understand the benefit of the products. The presence of similar competitors in the market has in fact proved to be beneficial in educating consumers and they started getting recognized.

“Other than just being a trustworthy source of milk there are several benefits of A2 milk—cow’s milk that is free of a form of beta-casein proteins called A1, which are said to cause indigestion and other health problems,” – Virendra Nagarkar, Director – Vedaaz Organics

“I noticed a huge difference in the quality of milk and ghee. There’s a certain natural sweet flavor to the milk, and it doesn’t leave you with that bloated, heavy feeling that you get after drinking other regular milk brands. Also, the paneer you make with this milk is soft and slightly crumbly, unlike what you get in supermarkets,” Amit Patil, Director – Vedaaz Organics

Since customer’s health always remained at the heart of their services and their top-priority, Vedaaz sales grew considerably high during the lockdown period when people made their health the utmost concern. This is a testament to the rigorous efforts of the team at Vedaaz to assure quality and unadulterated A2 milk.

The company has plans to expand to at least 15 more cities in the next two years offering premium A2 Milk, dairy products and hopes they touch the lives of 50000+ customers daily.
